More memories

(this is by Jim Vigallon)Jim's Truck
seeing the castro gas station really brought back memories, cousin tony castros 48 plymouth, george sanchez 39 plymouth, joe vigallon jrs 49 chevvy with their hot pinoli paint jobs, i would just drool seeing those cars

my first car was purchased from frank (the portigee) nunes a brother in law to the alga family that lived across the street from the castros for $35..wow now i had wheels, i heated the front springs to lower the car, installed two carbs and dual exhaust...a sucession of cars, trucks and motorcycles had followed... 47 to be exact i still have a hot rod, as ralph said, "arent you ever going to grow up"

seeing that photo of the villalon dealership in spain, i guess i was following in somebodys footsteps
