My dear wonderful family:

I wanted to write to you all to first express our thanks for all your prayers, letters, cards, e-mails. Words cannot express the love that was given by all of you.

We have tried different kinds of treatments for Mary Ann's "Health Opportunity" and we have not had the success that we wanted. So, because of one Doctor who took an interest we will be going to Bangkok, Thailand as of October 12th. We will be there for 4 weeks. The purpose of the trip is to take a cure that has the possibility of being a success. It is brand new, so new that Mary Ann will be the 4th person to receive the treatment. Mary Ann is in good spirits. She has a wonderful mental attitude. She also knows that she has her lord who has the power to make her well. I am right there with her. I can assure you that we will do all that we can to get her well. The lord is in charge and will have to do the rest.
